Mat Mejia

With over two decades of experience in creative direction and digital design, I have spent the last 8.5 years at Google evolving global platform design systems through the lens of emerging technology. My current work focuses on moving beyond static components to create agentic experiences and generative patterns—transforming traditional design frameworks into dynamic, intelligent ecosystems.

My career is rooted in high-level craft and creative strategy. Before joining Google, I led award-winning digital products for a prestigious roster of global brands, including NASA, Honda, Sony, Coca-Cola, and Universal Pictures. My perspective on the industry has been featured in leading publications, including iDN, Computer Arts, Adobe.com, and HOW Magazine.
